Purpose

Special Ed Task Force is a contractual committee that meets no less than four (4) times annually.

The purpose of the task force is:

(a) to identify Special Education unit members’ concerns regarding working conditions,
(b) to discuss District identified areas of concerns,
(c) to recommend whether to continue Special Education PCT release for one meeting per month,
(d) to make recommendations to both parties of possible solutions to identified problems and concerns,
(e) and to provide progress updates quarterly to the E-Board and Cabinet.

The Task Force will be composed of equal numbers of District and Association appointees. The goal of the Task Force will be to find long-term approaches to common concerns. Both parties are committed to maintaining an excellent District Special Education program for the students of the CNUSD.
