The mission of the Corona-Norco Teachers Association is to organize and empower educators through collective action, fostering a united voice that improves working conditions for our members and learning conditions for all students. We build strength and share power by cultivating site-level leadership, advocating for equity, defending professional rights, and developing strong partnerships with families and the community.

Our Vision

CNTA envisions a future where every educator is informed and engaged in shaping their profession. Through organizing and building connections, we will create collaborative decision making within schools, accountable leadership, safe schools, and inclusive environments where our members and students thrive. Together, we will transform our union into a member-led force—driven by the power of professional educators, relationships, and the belief that change begins with us.

Our Purpose

The primary purpose of the Corona-Norco Teachers Association is:

To represent our members in their relations with the Corona-Norco Unified School District and to seek to be the exclusive representative of appropriate units of school employees in all matters relating to employment conditions and employer-employee relations including, but not limited to, wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment;
To form a representative body capable of developing group opinion on professional matters to speak with authority for members;
To provide an opportunity for continuous study and action on problems of the profession;
To promote cooperation and communication between classified and certificated educators;
To provide a means of representation for its BIPOC members;
To promote professional attitudes and ethical conduct among members;
To encourage cooperation and communication between the profession and the community; and
To foster good fellowship among members.
